Provide usage reports to the publisher. Give a publisher the option to create licenses based on time period, time limit or number of product launches. The publisher can provide a multitude of different licenses controlling number of installations, activations, concurrent users and off-line runs. Give the publisher a chance to have recurring connections with the end users. Provide optional and mandatory updates through the central server. A time saving feature for both the user and the publisher. Let a user move the license from one system to another either permanently or as an option when working from home on an application registered at his system at work. Let a user or company have a floating license for a certain application that determines how many instances of the application that can run in the same time (concurrent users). Let a user or company have unlimited copies of a certain application as long as it is run on a network with a certain IP address (like in a home with a LAN).
