May, 2010 – All Interactive Distribution (AID), a leading retail and online distributor for PC games, has together with it's partner N3V, a game publisher, chosen ByteShield’s DRM system for its line-up of PC games. These PC games come from a worldwide network of content partners.

June, 2009 – ByteShield won the 2009 CompTIA SoftwareCEO Software Innovation Award in 'The Most Innovative Software for the Software Industry' category for its ByteShield DRM solution. Specific comments by the judges include: “in scope this applies to every software firm shipping a product….”, "this seems to be a market driven by better mousetraps, and ByteShield is making inroads …” and “top marks for innovation; this offers technical and business model breakthroughs.”.

September, 2008 – ByteShield released ByteAdmin™, an online tool for publishers and developers to remotely manage all PC Game/Software licenses protected by ByteShield's DRM solution.

July, 2008 – ByteShield released ByteShield DRM for Microsoft® Windows® Vista.

July, 2008 – ByteShield raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Gylling Invest AB and other angel investors. The investment will enable acceleration of the ByteShield platform development and expand sales and marketing efforts.
